This year, Access Health CT has 22 health plans from high-quality insurance carriers to choose from, categorized by metal level. You can select a plan that best meets your health needs and fits your financial situation. With so many choices, it is important to know how to shop for the coverage that best meets your healthcare needs.

Shopping for Coverage

To shop for coverage, visit the Compare Plans page on AccessHealthCT.com. Complete all requested information (including doctors, prescriptions and expected medical services) and click “Next” to view your plan options. Then use our Plan Comparison Tool to compare coverage choices.

As you compare coverage options, ask yourself questions like these. They’ll help you focus on the options that will serve you best:

  1. Are your doctors in the provider network?
  2. Are your prescriptions covered?
  3. Are the services you need covered?
  4. How much are the premium and copayments?
  5. What is the out-of-pocket maximum?

Review each plan’s coverage document to make sure the plan has what you need. Complete coverage documents are available for every plan we offer. This makes it convenient to compare plans before enrolling. Once enrolled, you can reference these documents anytime within your Consumer Account. You should also check the insurance carriers’ websites for the most up-to-date information about their provider networks.
